Congratulations to all the dancers who participated in and danced down the streets in the Moorpark Country Days Parade. You won 1st Place in the Commercial Category of the parade. The Trophy is at the studio for you all to see. Great job dancers!!!
Our dancers performed after the Moorpark Country Days parade and also at Saint Paschal’s carnival and the Thousand Oaks Street fair. All of which brought a lot of fun and great entertainment to the audience. So, congrats dancers! Three of our dance groups will be performing at Magic Mountain’s Dance Fest this month and we wish them lots of fun and good luck.
The master classes with Chris Jones and Mandy Kerr were fabulous and a great success. Thanks dancers for your enthusiasm!
Some of our classes will dance in a Holiday Dance Show along with some guest performers. The show will be at the High Street Arts Center in Moorpark on Saturday, December 13th. There will be a 1:00pm show and a 3:00pm show. Tickets are first come first serve, and available at the High Street Arts Center. Tticket reservation at high street will be available after November 15th. Dancers should have received green permission slips to turn in, if you have not received one, please check to see if your class is participating. Advanced dancers- If you are interested in performing or helping in the shows, please come to see me as soon as possible.
Dance Company Pictures are at the studio on Saturday, November 8th and Nutcracker Ballet Pictures are Sunday, November 9th. Check for your times. In conjunction with picture weekend, we will be doing a Jamba Juice fundraiser to benefit the Moorpark Civic Ballet. Get your flyer at the studio.
Thanksgiving Day Pies!!! Our Competing Companies are having their Annual Marie Callendar’s Pie Fundraiser. All profits will benefit our competing dance companies. Just pre-order your Thanksgiving pies from us, we pick them up from Marie Callendar’s and bring them to you. Order forms (with delivery options) are available at the front desk.
Moorpark Civic Ballet Nutcracker tickets are available online through Ticketmaster or at the T.O. Civic Box Office. The Nutcracker Ballet will be performed in the Ray Sherr Theater at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Friday, December 19, at 7pm, Saturday, December 20, at 1:30pm and 6:30pm.
Ad’s for the Nutcracker program are being taken now. We will have both Personal “Shout out’s” and Business ads as well. Pick up a form at the studio front desk. Deadline for all ads is Nov. 25. 
Saturday December 6th, will be the 2nd Annual Nutcracker Family Ball. This will kick off our Nutcracker Ballet. Come for some great fun and dancing. Raffles and Auction items too. Tickets on sale during picture weekend. Get your tickets early- it will sell out! You could win a Mac computer!!!  Just purchase a $5 raffle ticket from any Nutcracker dancer to be entered into the drawing on Dec 6th at the Nutcracker Ball. Winner does not need to be present to win.
Congrats to our teacher Catrina, who is getting married this month. Happy Birthday to our lovely dance teacher’s- Miss Jen (Oct) and Miss Keri P and Miss Julia this month.
